New Great Master of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath

On the 23rd April 2024 His Majesty the King appointed His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales KG KT ADC, Great Master and Principal Knight of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath. The post had been vacant since His Majesty the King succeeded to the throne.

His Majesty the King has appointed The Rt Hon. Sir Edward Young KCVO a Knight Grand Cross of the Civil Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (GCB) for his service as Principal Private Secretary to His Majesty The King and former Private Secretary to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The Very Reverend Dr. John Robert Hall was appointed Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (KCVO) for his service as Dean of Westminster and Dean of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath.

Her Majesty the Queen has appointed Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton GCB King of Arms of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath in succession to Admiral of the Fleet the Lord Boyce KG GCB OBE DL who has retired.

New Usher of the Scarlet Rod

Disgraced Former minister Chris Huhne’s ex-wife stripped of CB

The Queen has accepted the Honours Forfeiture Committee’s advice and decreed that Mrs Vicky Pryce is to be stripped of the Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (CB) awarded to her on the 13 June 2009 following her conviction for perverting the course of justice. Her honour has been cancelled and annulled and her name shall cease to be on the register of The Most Honourable Order of the Bath.
