Queen Appoints Pages of Honour

Her Majesty the Queen has appointed Marquess of Lorne, Master Lachlan Legge-Bourke, and The Hon. Augustus Stanhope as her pages of honour in succession to Master Arthur Chatto, The Hon. Charles Armstrong-Jones and Viscount Aithrie.

Archibald Frederick Campbell, Marquess of Lorne (b. 2004) son of Torquhil Ian Campbell, 13th and 6th Duke of Argyll.

Lochy Legge-Bourke (b. 29 March 2003) son of Harry Russell Legge-Bourke nephew of Tiggy Legge-Bourke MVO.

Hon. Augustus Stanhope (b. 2005). Grandson of Charles Henry Leicester Stanhope, 12th Earl of Harrington and nephew of Serena Armstrong-Jones, Viscountess Linley.

Honorary GCB for the President of Mexico

New Lieutenant of Her Majesty’s Tower of London

Her Majesty the Queen has appointed Lieutenant-General Sir Simon Vincent Mayall KBE CB to the office of Lieutenant of Her Majesty’s Tower of London in succession to Lieutenant-General Peter Thomas Clayton Pearson CB CBE.

Queen Revokes disgrace’s Stars Honour

The Queen has accepted the Honours Forfeiture Committee’s advice regarding the cancellation and annulment of the honour awarded to the following person.

Mr Rolf Harris is to be stripped of his CBE awarded on the 17 June 2006 after being found guilty of 12 counts of indecent assault on children. He was sentenced to a total of five years and nine months in prison.

Governor-General of Australia Revokes disgrace’s Stars Honours

His Excellency General The Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC has cancelled and annulled the honours awarded to Mr Rolf Harris.

Mr Harris’s Appointments as Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) and Member of the Order of Australia (AM) shall be cancelled and annulled and that his name shall be erased from the Register of the Order of Australia.

Mr Rolf Harris was found guilty of 12 counts of indecent assault on children. He was sentenced to a total of five years and nine months in prison.

Queen Revokes Nurse’s Knighthood

The Queen has accepted the Honours Forfeiture Committee’s advice regarding the cancellation and annulment of the honour awarded to the following person.

George Castledine is to be stripped of his Knighthood awarded on the 15 June 2007 after being found guilty by the Nursing and Midwifery Council for misconduct with a female patient and has been struck off the nursing register.
