Mr Jon Benjamin has been appointed to be the next British High Commissioner to Ghana succeeding Mr Peter Jones who is stepping down in June 2014.

New Honorary Physician to the Queen

King of Sweden Names Royal Baby

Yesterday King Carl XVI Gustaf announced to the Swedish cabinet that Princess Madeleine and her husband Chris O'Neill have named their daughter Leonore Lilian Maria.

The baby princess will be styled Her Royal Highness Princess Leonore of Sweden. King Carl XVI Gustaf has given his granddaughter the title Duchess of Gotland. Princess Leonore is fifth in line to the Swedish throne.

Princess Madeleine, Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland gave birth to a baby girl on the 20th February 2014 at 10:41pm (EST) in New York, USA. Her husband Christopher O’Neill was at the birth.

The baby‘s name and Title is to be announced by her grandfather King Carl XVI Gustaf

Princess Madeleine and Christopher O’Neill KNO were married in Stockholm on the 8th June 2013.
