GCMG for the Governor-General of Papua New Guinea

The Queen has appointed His Excellency the Honourable Robert Dadae the honour of Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George (GCMG) for his service as Governor-General of Papua New Guinea.

Mr Simon Tonge has been appointed to be the next British High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea succeeding Ms Jacqueline Barson MBE who is stepping down in June 2014.
