New Zealand Honours Former Private Secretary to Her Majesty The Queen

As part of the New Year’s Honours List for 2018, Her Majesty the Queen has appointed The Rt Hon The Lord Geidt of Crobeg GCVO KCB OBE one of the Companions of the Queen's Service Order (QSO) for his service as Private Secretary To the Queen of New Zealand.

CVO for Future Head of the New Zealand Secret Service

Ms Rebecca Kitteridge has been appointed Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) for her service as Secretary of the Cabinet and Clerk of the Executive Council of New Zealand.

Ms Kitteridge has been appointed to succeed Warren Tucker as Director of the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service at the end of April.
