Master Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank (Born 30th May 2023)

On the 30th May 2023, Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie, Mrs Brooksbank gave birth to a baby boy weighing 7lb 1oz.

This is Her Royal Highnesses and Mr Jack Brooksbank second child, as well as the third grandchild for HRH The Duke of York and his ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York.

The baby has been named Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, his middle name George is in honour of his 3x Great-Grandfather King George V and his paternal Grandfather George Brooksbank. His middle Ronnie is in honour of his Great-Grandfather Ronald Ivor Ferguson.

Ernest is currently 13th in line to the throne of Britain and the Commonwealth realms.

Miss Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi (Born 18th September 2021)

On the 18th September 2021, Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice, Mrs Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi gave birth to a baby girl weighing 6lb 2oz at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in Chelsea, London.

This is Her Royal Highnesses and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi first child, as well as the second grandchild for HRH The Duke of York and his ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York.

The baby has been named Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, Her middle name is in honour of Her Majesty The Queen. Sienna is currently 11th in line to the throne of Britain and the Commonwealth realms.

Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie of York to Marry in the Autumn

His Royal Highness The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York have announced today that their youngest daughter Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie of York has got engaged to Mr Jack Brooksbank. 

The wedding will take place at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle and will be in the autumn of this year.

New Colonel of the Grenadier Guards

His Royal Highness The Duke of York KG GCVO ADC has been appointed by Her Majesty The Queen to succeed His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh KG KT OM GCVO GBE as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards - a post which HRH the Duke of Edinburgh had held since 1975. The Duke of York’s appointment comes following the Duke of Edinburgh’s retirement from public life in the autumn of this year.

King of Spain Honours British Royals

Royal Fellowship for The Duke of York

The Royal Society has elected His Royal Highness The Duke of York a Royal Fellow of the Royal Society. The Royal Society is a fellowship of eminent scientists who are working together to promote science and its benefits to the world. The Duke of York will join other royal fellows including Her Majesty the Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Princess Royal, The Duke of Kent and The Duke of Cambridge.
