Mr Michael More-Molyneux DL has been appointed by the Queen to become Lord Lieutenant for Surrey succeeding Dame Sarah Goad DCVO JP who retires on the 23 August 2015.
Fiona Ferelith Hodgson (Lady Hodgson) CBE has been granted the title of Baroness Hodgson of Abinger, of Adinger in the County of Surrey. Under the Life Peerage Act 1958 and will sit in the House of Lords as a Conservative.
On the 1st of November 2012, Paul Clive Deighton was elevated to the title of Baron Deighton of Carshalton in the County of Surrey. Under the Life Peerage Act 1958 and will sit in the House of Lords as a Conservative.
