New Lord Warden and Admiral of the Cinque Ports

On the 21st May 2024, His Majesty the King appointed Admiral Sir George Zambellas GCB DSC ADC DL to the post of Lord Warden and Admiral of the Cinque Ports. Sir George succeeds Admiral of the Fleet The Rt Hon The Lord Boyce KG GCB OBE KStJ DL who passed away in 2022.

HRH The Prince of Wales Honoured

On the 11th of August 2023, His Majesty The King appointed HRH The Prince of Wales the honorary ranks of Commander in the Royal Navy, Lieutenant Colonel in the British Army and Wing Commander of the Royal Air Force.

Admiral Sir George Zambellas KCB DSC has been appointed First Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Staff and Principal Naval Aide-de-Camp to Her Majesty the Queen in succession to Admiral Sir Mark Stanhope GCB OBE ADC.
