The Count and Countess of Paris have a baby Boy

The Count and Countess of Paris have announced the birth of their sixth child, a boy born on the 31st December 2023. The couple have named him Prince Alphonse Charles François Marie d'Orléans.

Prince Jean, Count of Paris is Head of the House of Orléans and claimant to the defunct Throne of France, Inheriting the role from his father in 2019.The couple married in 2009 and now have three boys and three girls.

His Majesty The King appoints to the Royal Victorian Order

Life Peerage for Former Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister

The Rt Hon. Edward David Gerard Llewellyn OBE has been granted the title of Baron Llewellyn of Steep, of Steep in the County of Hampshire. Under the Life Peerage Act 1958 and will sit in the House of Lords as a Conservative.

Lord Llewellyn of Steep has been appointed to be Her Majesty’s next Ambassador to France and will take office in November 2016.

Ms Kara Justine Owen has been appointed Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) for her service as Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Paris.

Royal Visit to France 2014

Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh have been invited by President Hollande of France to visit France from the 5th of June to the 7th of June 2014.

Tour Itinerary

On 6th June The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh will attend events in Normandy to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.

From the 6th and 7th June Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh will attend events in Paris and will stay at the Elysee Palace.
