Her Majesty The Queen has granted Ms Diana Francesca Caroline Barran MBE the title of Baroness Barran, of Bathwick in the City of Bath for the duration of her life under the Life Peerage Act of 1958.
She was nominated for a Life Peerage following her work as chief executive of SafeLives. Baroness Barran will sit in the House of Lords for the Conservative Party.
