Her Majesty the Queen has appointed Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Mpilo Tutu an Honorary member of the Order of Companions of Honour (CH) for his service to communities within the UK and for his role in International Peace and Reconciliation.

GCMG for the Governor-General of Saint Christopher and Nevis
The Queen has appointed His Excellency Samuel Weymouth Tapley Seaton CVO QC JP the honour of Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George (GCMG) for his service as Governor-General of Saint Christopher and Nevis.

On the 21st November 2015 Mr Christopher Jon Martin CB was appointed Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) for his service as Principal Private Secretary to the Prime Minister.
Mr Martin passed away today due to cancer aged just 42. My Thoughts go to his family at this difficult time.
