Life Peerage for the Founder of The Big Issue

Mr John Anthony Bird MBE has been granted the title of Baron Bird, of Notting Hill in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Under the Life Peerage Act 1958 and will sit in the House of Lords as a Crossbencher.
