New Chaplains to Her Majesty the Queen
Her Majesty the Queen has appointed the Reverend Canon Dr Mark Pryce and Reverend Canon Dr Georgina Byrne to be Chaplains to Her Majesty within the Royal Ecclesiastical Household in succession to the Reverend Canon George Moffat and the Reverend Canon Gillian Calver.
New Honorary Surgeon to the Queen
Her Majesty the Queen has appointed Group Captain I. D. Sargeant OBE to be an Honorary Surgeon to her Royal Household.
New Honorary Dental Surgeon to the Queen
Her Majesty the Queen appointed Air Commodore M. Byford to be an Honorary Dental Surgeon to her Royal Household.
The Rt Hon. The Earl of Snowdon GCVO (7 March 1930 – 13 January 2017)
The Rt Hon. The Earl of Snowdon the former husband of Her Majesty the Queen’s Sister Princess Margaret has passed away today at the age of 86 a family spokesperson has just announced.
His only legitimate son David Albert Charles Armstrong-Jones, Viscount Linley will succeed him as the 2nd Earl of Snowdon. David’s only son Charles Patrick Inigo Armstrong-Jones will now use the courtesy title of Viscount Linley. Charles’s sister will be now known as Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones.
My Condolences and thoughts are with Lord Snowdon's family at this terrible time.

The Queen Revokes Former Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands Knighthood
Her Majesty The Queen has signed Letters Patent to cancel and annul the Knight Bachelor awarded to Mr Allan Kemakeza on the 16 June 2001, for services to policing and politics.
Mr Allan Kemakeza served as Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands from the 17 December 2001 to the 20 April 2006.
