The Countess of Wessex and Forfar Promoted Dame Grand Cross

On the 14th of April 2022 Her Majesty the Queen promoted Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex and Forfar GCVO DStJ CD to Dame Grand Cross of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem (GCStJ). Before her promotion Her Royal Highness was Dame of Justice of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem (DStJ) which she received in April 2005.

Her Royal Highness is the Grand President of St John Ambulance, which forms a key part of the work the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem does.

Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex in her role as Royal Colonel of the 5th Battalion of The Rifles will visit them while they are deployed in Estonia as part of a Nato mission.

11th May 2017

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge will take part in the commemorations of the Treaty of London in Luxembourg.
