Life Peerage for Former Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly

Mr William Alexander Hay has been granted the title of Baron Hay of Ballyore, of Ballyore in the City of Londonderry. Under the Life Peerage Act 1958 and will sit in the House of Lords as a Crossbencher.
