New Lord Lieutenant for Roxburgh, Ettrick and Lauderdale
His Grace The Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry KBE FRSE DL has been appointed by the Queen to become Lord Lieutenant for Roxburgh, Ettrick and Lauderdale succeeding Captain The Honourable Gerald Maitland-Carew CVO who retires on the 28th December 2016.
