Civilian Gallantry List for June 2017

Mr Dominic Troulan QGM has awarded the George Cross (GC) for saving lives in the Westgate shopping mall attack in Kenya on the 21st September 2013.

The George Medal (GM) has been awarded to the following people:

Mr Bernard Kenny for his assistance to Jo Cox MP on the 16th June 2016
PC Keith Palmer (posthumously) for confronting an armed terrorist to protect others and Parliament on the 22nd March 2017

The Queen’s Gallantry Medal (QGM) has been awarded to the following people:

Mr Ian Bugler for attempting to save a trap woman in a cave on the 2nd November 2013
PC Craig Nicholls for arresting the murderer of Jo Cox MP on the 16th June 2016
PC Jonathan Wright for arresting the murderer of Jo Cox MP on the 16th June 2016

Queen’s Commendation for Bravery has been awarded to the following people:

Mr Spencer Bell (posthumously) for attempting to save a life on the 30th January 2014
Mr Chris Norman for subduing an the armed man in the Thalys train attack on the 21st August 2015
Mr Allen Pembroke for aiding victims of the Port El Kantaoui attack on the 26th June 2015
Mr Paul Short for aiding victims of the Port El Kantaoui attack on the 26th June 2015

RVM for Queen’s Hairdresser in Scotland
