Queen Appoints New Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland

Her Majesty the Queen has appointed The Rt Hon. Baron Hope of Craighead KT PC Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland for 2015.

Lord Hope of Craighead will be the Queen’s personal representative within the Church of Scotland.

As Lord High Commissioner Lord Hope of Craighead will carry out the opening and closing addresses at the General Assembly.
